Foundry 19

655 19th Avenue NE Minneapolis - The Hart-Carter Company was formed in 1928 through the merger of Hart Grain Weigher Company of Peoria, IL, the Carter Mayhew Company of Minneapolis and the Twin City Separator Company of Minneapolis and Winnipeg, Canada. Combined, these companies made significant advances in the mechanization of agricultural practice.

The Hart Carter Company occupied 655 19th Avenue through at least the 1960s, and continued to innovate and grow throughout its occupation of the building.

Today the building is known as Foundry 19
